MORE – AN INITIATIVE BY UNIKO
Young people who lose access to education due to war and flight are at risk of becoming a lost generation. The MORE initiative is committed to ensuring that the potential of these people, their knowledge and their talents can also be promoted and developed in Austria.
MORE started as a pilot phase in the winter semester 2015/16. In the meantime, ALL universities in Graz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Leoben, Linz and Salzburg and Vienna are participating and are making a certain number of places available in selected courses and seminars. In the past semesters (winter semester 2015/16 up to and including summer semester 2019), approximately 3,000 first-time MORE students have taken advantage of approximately 4,000 course offerings.
